Deep South Farm FAQ – Find answers to common questions about our charming boutique wedding venue in Ellijay, GA. Learn more about pricing, amenities, capacity, vendor policies, and everything you need to plan your perfect day** on our 40-acre rustic and elegant property.
Are decorations included?
We will provide tables, chairs, white or black linens and arch for your wedding.
Are pets allowed?
Pets must be pre approved.
How many hours are we allowed to be on the property?
You will have access to the property from 10:00am to 10:00pm
What is the payment plan?
To secure the date we require a 25% non refundable down payment. The remaining venue fee can be broken up three more times with the fina payment due 60 days before the wedding.
What is prohibited?
We do not allow fire works, confetti or open flame candles.
Can we leave cars overnight?
No. We often have events the next day, so all vehicles and belongings must leave the night of the event.
Is the venue climate controlled?
Yes! We are able to host events all year round!
Will security be onsite?
Yes. A police officer is required at all events.
Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?

What are your rates?
Rates range from $3,000 to $15,000. Fill out our inquiry form here and we will be in touch to give you more customized pricing.
Are we allowed to bring in our own vendors and caterers? You are permitted to use your own vendors however they all must be licensed and insured.

We’re located in the beautiful mountains of Gilmer County, GA. At just over an hour North of Atlanta, our location is both beautiful and convenient!

From Atlanta: From 75 North take exit 268 for 575 North toward Canton. Stay on 575/515 N all the way to Ellijay. Turn left onto 1st Ave at the 3rd red light in East Ellijay(at the Hardee’s), cross the bridge and turn right onto Hwy 52 East. Go 3.7 miles and turn right onto Mulkey Road. Deep South farm is 9/10 of a mile on your left.
From Dawsonville: Take Hwy 136 West towards Amicalola Falls out of Dawsonville. Take a slight left onto Hwy 52 West toward Ellijay(at the ‘Y’). Go approximately 14.5 miles to a left on Mulkey Road. Deep South farm is 9/10 of a mile on your left.
